What is life coaching?

Think of it like having a sports coach—someone you have that helps you run faster, jump higher, and shift beyond those frustrating habits that slow you down so that you can play your best game.

As a Life coach, I do the same thing, but with the elements of YOUR LIFE.

family/work/money/health&exercise/friends/time management/relationships/organization/taking on a major change or transition/self-confidence/romance/productivity/everything else

How does it work?

Very easily over the phone in a 30 minute conversation. It can be done anywhere, anytime.

Who needs coaching?

Actually, coaching isn’t really for those who need it, but who WANT it. Who are ready to take their lives to the next level.

Consider coaching if:

• There’s a New Year’s Resolution you want to actually KEEP this year. (Wow, what would that be like?)
• Life is going pretty good, but you know it can be better.
• There is an area of your life that is not feeling satisfactory or there’s a constant complaint or frustration.
• A big change or transition has occurred or is approaching.
• You just want more in your life
• Something’s missing in your life. You might not even be sure what it is but there is that empty feeling.
• There are “HAVE TO’s” in your life rather than “WANT TO’s”
• You’re not feeling fulfilled, inspired, motivated or truly alive.

What makes coaching so different and wonderful?

Imagine you want to learn how to ride a bike. There are many ways to go:
• A THERAPIST might help you discover all the blocks and traumas from your past that have kept you from learning to ride a bicycle before now, and why you may feel fearful about going forward at this time.
• A CONSULTANT might give you all the technical information about bicycles, their features, how to use them, and maybe even how to be "ergonomically correct" when you ride a bicycle.
• A MENTOR might explain everything to you as he or she actually gets on the bicycle and rides it for you, demonstrating how it's done.

These are all good approaches, but not for everyone.

If you really want to learn HOW to ride on your own...
A COACH will stand by you as you get on the bicycle, keep it steady and help you discover your balance, cheer you on, give you a little push from behind when you need it, run along beside you with encouragement, and then let go so you can do it on your own.

So what’s the “bike” that you want to ride?
