Saturday Evening Coaching Homework Opportunity.
This is to anyone who is scheduled to take their CTI Core Curriculum training (Fundamentals, Fulfillment, Balance, Process, In the Bones) this coming weekend, and is still looking for a client to fulfill their Saturday evening homework requirements.
I am willing to be your client.
What am I offering?
To fulfill your homework requirement, you can coach me Saturday evening for 30 minutes and afterwards I'll give you clear feedback as to how well you did on using your new skills and what area you need to work on. As an experienced certified coach of over four years, I am well versed in the CTI coaching model, and those coaches who have taken advantage of this have found it extremely helpful to their learning.
Why am I doing this?
Well, for a few reasons.

- A)
I know my experience going through the Core Curriculum, and how I felt while learning these amazing skills-sometimes confused or frustrated, sometimes excited and overwhelmed-and it was comforting to have some experienced coaches in my circle that I could turn to for my own growth.. So this is my chance to return the service and help new coaches like you discover their power and skills.-
- 2)
It's a way of keeping connected with the Coaching community. The more connected I am, the more alive I feel. (I'll admit, I get something out of it, too.) It's also an important Value for me to help in building the Coaching Community, and reaching out to new coaches like yourself in training seems like a great way to do that.-
- III)
I'm good at it. -
Make no mistake, the coaching will be real, I will be a real client with real issues and agenda, but as a skilled and certified coach, I'm also offering the added bonus of experienced and knowledgeable feedback.
Now please note, that I can only do one client each Saturday evening, so if you already have a client lined up, please take them. I will not be heartbroken. If I receive more than one coaching opportunity, I will do my best to honor as many as possible, but I also may not be able to, due to scheduling and logistics. Again, I encourage you to do your best to find your own clients. (You'll have to learn how to do it anyway, so you might as well get the practice now.)
So consider me the last (but not least) option.
Also, due to previously scheduled events, I might not be available for the weekend that you are needing a client. If that is the case, I apologize in advance and encourage you to get out there and find a client on your own and contact me the next time around. But you're always welcome to give it a shot and contact me, you never know, and you might get lucky and have a "client."
Why should you not to do this?
There are some drawbacks to having me as your client for Saturday night.
- a)
By coaching your own clients, you're spreading the experience of coaching further out into the world.-
- b)
Also, their feedback will be completely from a client's perspective (which has great benefits of its own, since you are going to be coaching plenty of non-coaches. It's good to know how you come across to them). -
- c)
Finally, they may wish to continue on with you as their coach, and you then have a client lined up to keep practicing your skills, perhaps even for some money, too. With me, this would be a one time deal.-
If, however, you're still in need of a client for your Saturday night homework, please contact me and we can set up an appointment.
