 | Why should you hire a coach?
A) This is your new direction. If you're serious about it, you're going to want to learn your skills from every possible resource. By having a coach of your own, you'll not only absorb their skills and style, but you'll also be immersed in the coaching conversation. 2) Let's face it, as passionate as you may be about this, it's also challenging and confronting. How do you build a business? How can you stay focused? Where are all those clients? Unfortunately, being a coach is more than just taking some amazing courses. And you're going to need someone in your corner to help keep you focused and committed. Someone like... a coach. III) Are you "hooked" on coaching? Do you believe that everyone can benefit from a having a coach in their lives... someone like you? Then it would certainly benefit you to take your own advice. Nothing does better advertising of product need than "personal testimonial." | | Why should you hire ME as your coach?
I could answer with something simple like, “Because I’m good enough, smart enough, and doggone it, people like me.” Actually there’s something to that. A) I’ve got almost four years of training in practically all of the CTI's courses (Core Curriculum, The Business development Course pilot, Certification, ORSC series, Vision, Quest, and Leadership) and have assisted over 24 times. I know this material intimately. I’m also currently the the Marketing Co-Chair for the ICF Chicago Chapter and the facilitator for the CTI Chicago Metro Network. 2) Not only am I a huge fan of CTI, I'm also a great supporter, having created the bi-weekly CTI SKILLS telecall to help coaches of all levels to increase their learning of the CTI skills, but I've also created a game with the same benefits and more. III) I'm serious about my play. If I'm not connected and having fun, then it's most likely not worth doing.
| Ben is an insightful coach who continually provokes thought and encourages self examination. He has an open and welcoming manner that promotes a trusting relationship and a desire to dig deep within and discover ones full potential. He goes above and beyond while still keeping the lines between client and coach quite clear. Jaci D. |

Ben's sturdy presence, gentle prodding, sparkling humor and seemingly endless bag of tricks were exactly what I needed. He created the perfect container and invited me in week after week to bounce off the walls, sit and contemplate, paint conversational murals, explore the dark corners, whatever was needed. - Laura N. | what you get:A) 4 weekly sessions consisting of 30-minutes of personal coaching 2) An additional 15 minutes of special “coach to coach” time each week to discuss skills, business, advice and other information. This is where you get to ask questions about what you're learning. We can talk about things you're struggling (or celebrating) with your clients. And I can pass on to you my own knowledge and insights for you to adapt and implement as your own. III) There are also optional opportunities for "reverse coaching" for feedback--that means you coach me, and I give you intricate and specific feedback on your skills. This comes in really handy when you're taking a new class, or learning a new skill, or even just for a refresher to keep you focused on what you've already learned, and lock it in even deeper. This is not designed to take the place of your weekend courses, but rather to enhance them, so that you'll get more input and insight on how your coaching skills are improving and what stillneeds attention and steps to strengthening them so that... you guessed it, you grow and learn at an even accelerated rate, allowing you to become an even more powerful and confident coach. | |
